Nationally and internationally recognized for her 35 years of experience as an arts teacher and performing artist, as well as her more than 20 years as a community cultural manager and environmental educator through Art. She has toured as an artist and academic in: Spain, Germany, England, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Canada, the United States, El Salvador, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Honduras, Argentina, Chile, and Mexico. She has received scholarships, recognitions and tributes in Latin America and Europe. She is the founder of national and international festivals of dance, theater, music, puppetry, reforestation, environmental education, intercultural and multidisciplinary in Mexico and Central America. She has been Focal Point for Michoacán in the international initiative of the Earth Charter and is currently Secretary of Culture of Morelia and Focal Point of Morelia Creative City of Music by UNESCO.
